-Adventure Center offers an integrated array of classes focusing on one specific subject matter at a time. The Adventure Center is a place for children and their parents to share time and resources together where learning is joyful, strength based, experiential and multi-sensory with the integration of arts, movement , music, theater and other useful avenues to build upon the individual brilliance of each child. Children develop comfort and pleasure in the experience and become motivated to engage in the learning process, with the self confidence and self esteem to address less developed cognitive areas without the need for defensive or self protective behaviors.  Adventure Center's program design and ideology was developed from years of research, empirical evidence and the voices of parents, children, professionals, and school leaders that there was an opportunity to offer after-school and weekend programming in ways that were not currently provided. Adventure Center is providing an essential aspect of a balanced approach to  education as it is integrated into stages of childhood development; a valuable element that is realized by educators as integral to their work yet, is difficult to put into practice in classroom settings.
 
-Every child is viewed through a lens of their gifts. Respect of the individual looks beyond external behaviors that can easily guide the attention of others to inaccurate perceptions, placing focus on “perceived flaws” rather than on learning ability.  

Adventure Center’s offers a gentle setting where children can exercise their strengths and apply these in joyful arts and nature-oriented activities that offer new avenues of interest and expertise.
